We invite you to visit Monterey Elks Lodge #1285, “The Lodge With a View” with picture windows overlooking Monterey Bay. Our facilities include:

Dining Room
Dinners are prepared by our Executive Chef and served every Wednesday night at 6 pm unless otherwise designated in the Lodge Calendar of Events. Dinner menus are published in the monthly news bulletins, on our website, and on Facebook. Pre-paid dinner reservations are REQUIRED by 2 pm on Tuesday (day before dinner). NOTE: reservations made after 2 pm on Tuesday will incur a $5 upcharge per person and will be based on availability. Contact the office at (831) 373-1285 for dinner reservation.
Bar
Professional, friendly bartenders serve drinks from our well-stocked, recently renovated bar. Lunches are served in the bar on Thursdays and Fridays. See Hours of Operations and Calendar of Events for current Bar Hours, Lunches, and special additions such as Potlucks.
Gym
Our Monterey Lodge has a well-equipped Members gym with exercise and weight equipment, a hot tub, sauna, and showers. See Hours of Operation for current Gym hours.

Gym Use Rules
- ONLY Members, their spouses, & children between the ages of 14 – 21 can use the gym
- Children must be accompanied by a member
- NO GUESTS allowed
- Must sign in at Gym Desk
- Absolutely NO one under 14 allowed in gym, sauna or hot tub
***Violations may result in the inactivation of member’s key card***
Bocce Court
Come and enjoy the outdoor Bocce Court open daily weather permitting. Check with the Lodge Office regarding availability.
Swimming Pool
Monterey Lodge has a swimming pool and a separate children’s wading pool with a full view of beautiful Monterey Bay. Both pools are open year-round and generally heated from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Pools are open daily from 7 am to 7 pm or dusk.
Pool Entry
Please bring your current membership card. You and all your guests must sign in and obtain pool wrist bracelets at the Lodge Office during business hours or at the gym during non-business hours. Individuals at the pool without a wrist band will be asked to leave and sign in at the appropriate place before returning to the pool.
- $10 fee for guests (2 guests maximum) to be paid during officer hours.
- No fee for members, their spouses, or immediate family.
Changing Areas & Restrooms:
- GIRLS: Enter Ladies Room lower area behind pool. Pathway is near the Bocce courts.
- BOYS: Enter the Restroom off the back deck near the BBQ area.
Pool Rules
- No lifeguard on duty — use the pool at your own risk.
- Wading pool for children 6 years and under. Responsible adult must be within arm’s reach.
- No diving or running.
- No yelling or profanity.
- No Boom Boxes or loud music. Those wishing to listen to music should use their phones with headphones.
- No small toys are allowed in the swimming or wading pools. Floating devices are welcome.
- No food or drinks are allowed in the swimming or wading pools.
- No glass containers, only plastic is allowed. Please use the trash containers around the pool for garbage.
- Member/spouse must always accompany and remain with children and guests in the pool area. Children may not be left unattended in the pool area.
- There must be at least one adult for every 4 children.
- Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied to the restrooms and changing rooms by an adult.
- Members are responsible for the conduct of their children and guests.
- Swim diapers or swim pants should be worn by diapered children.
- Service animals only are permitted in pool area.
FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE POOL RULES MAY RESULT IN SUSPENSION OF SWIMMING POOL PRIVILEGES FOR THE SEASON
